Who this is for
Consultation is for businesses that need help deciding what to do next, comparing options, planning a technology project, reviewing a current environment, or understanding the business impact of a technical decision.
It is also a good fit when a project needs discovery before Warmar Tech can provide a reliable estimate.
Problems we help solve
- The business needs technology advice before buying hardware, software, services, or support.
- A project needs discovery, documentation, or planning before it can be estimated accurately.
- Leadership needs help understanding technology risk, cost, lifecycle, security, continuity, or vendor options.
- A vendor, attorney, insurance partner, accountant, or internal stakeholder needs technical input from Warmar Tech.
- The business needs vCIO, vCISO, research, technical writing, or senior technical recommendations.
- A service request is too complex to quote responsibly without a scoped review.

The Warmar Tech Approach
How Warmar Tech approaches Consultation
Consultation works best when the goal is clear, the scope is honest, and the recommendation is practical. Warmar Tech starts by understanding the business need before jumping to a quote or tool recommendation.
- Understand: We review the question, business goal, technical environment, urgency, stakeholders, and what decision needs to be made.
- Research & Review: We gather the needed information, compare options, review risks, identify dependencies, and clarify what is included or excluded.
- Recommend Next Steps: We provide practical recommendations, next steps, estimate guidance, or a scoped project path so the business can move forward with less guesswork.

Consultation FAQ
What is the difference between a free intro conversation and paid consultation?
An intro conversation is free and covers basic fit, questions, and next steps. Paid consultation begins when the work requires planning, research, design, documentation, technical analysis, or senior guidance.
What is a Technology Review?
A Technology Review is a scoped discovery engagement used to understand an environment, service need, project, risk, or technical decision before recommending or estimating the next step.
Are Technology Reviews free?
Not always. Reviews may be paid when discovery, documentation, onsite review, planning, vendor research, or deeper analysis is needed. Warmar Tech explains the scope and cost before work begins.
What is vCIO or vCISO consultation?
vCIO guidance focuses on technology planning, budgeting, lifecycle, vendors, and business alignment. vCISO guidance focuses on security risk, readiness, policy, controls, and practical security planning.
What is peer-to-peer or principal engineer consulting?
It is senior-level consultation for owners, executives, attorneys, insurers, vendors, internal IT leaders, or technical stakeholders who need principal engineer, executive, or peer-level input beyond standard support or project work.
Do consultation fees apply toward future work?
Only when a written estimate or agreement says they do. Consultation and Technology Review fees are otherwise separate from later implementation or service costs.
Do onsite reviews include a trip fee?
Trip fees may apply to onsite reviews based on location and scope. Any applicable trip fee is explained before the work begins.
